About Us
Doing Impeccable Greatness (D.I.G.) was founded to address the critical needs of children in foster care who lack access to extracurricular programs. Our mission is to remove barriers and provide opportunities that empower foster youth and underserved children to reach their full potential. Our organization covers all costs associated with participation in sports, arts, STEM, wellness, and more, ensuring that every child has the chance to thrive.
We believe in creating safe, supportive spaces where every child feels seen, heard, and inspired. By facilitating meaningful experiences and nurturing growth, we strive to uplift children and youth in our communities who need it most, creating pathways to success and a brighter future.
Our Services
Our initiatives range from covering the costs of extracurricular programs to providing necessities, ensuring participants engage with dignity.
Extracurricular Programs
We cover the costs of sports, arts, and STEM to ensure every child can participate without financial barriers.
Food and Pantry Support/Community Garden
We need volunteers from corporate groups, college students, high school students to help with our community garden.
Emotional Support Programs
Facilitating expressive art therapy through activities like painting and storytelling for youth dealing with trauma.
Basic Necessities Support
We provide uniforms, shoes, and supplies, enabling children to engage in activities confidently and with pride.
Youth Engagement and Learning
Organizing outings and programs like hiking and life skills classes to build confidence and expand horizons for youth.
